What we do?

We catalyze democratic education and its practices by supporting school leaders, districts, and organizations through:

1) Institutional and Strategic Development

• Strategic Planning & Governance: Board development, strategic planning, and organizational guidance.

• Coaching & Professional Development: Individualized coaching, workshops, and cultivating community-based partnerships.

• Design Studio: Applying design thinking to support the development of new schools, programs, or initiatives.

2) Research, Knowledge Sharing, and Media Communications

• Producing and sharing research, stories, case studies, and the outstanding work of educators worldwide through media, books, podcasts, and publications.

• Communication planning and dissemination of best practices to advance democratic education.

3) Convening & Community Engagement

• Bringing together educators, leaders, and communities to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and build collaborative networks.

• Supporting graduates of the A320 program at Harvard Graduate School of Education and those planning new schools or initiatives.
